Got mites?
Monday, November 15, 2010 at 10:10AM Several of you have contacted me about mites and asked about treatment. I have had great results using SCATT & S76. I use it in January as a preventive for the upcoming breeding season, and if mites are a problem into the year I treat with S76. For feather mites you can add S76 to even the bath water for your birds! They love to bathe and adding treatment to the water helps them to wash away those pesky mites.
Be sure to read the label to get the proper amount for what you need. Scatt is applied to the birds thigh, 1 drop, if your bird has air sac mites or scaley mite.
Go to this page for product. I do not carry product just yet, but this site has what you need. http://www.ladygouldianfinch.com/features_scatt-s76.mgi

Hi, any clue from where i can buy S76 cause Ladygouldian didn't answer me, and i've been looking for a while to buy S76.
Regards Victor.
Victor, sorry to hear you are still having issues with your birds. Try calling
770-939-4531, this is Ladygouldian.com's number. Be sure not to over medicate your birds to try to find something that works. This only makes them weaker and sicker. If you hold your bird to your ear do you hear clicking when it breathes? Also, at night after the lights go out and the bird is sleeping do you hear it clicking when breathing? Your bird may have something other than air sac mites. Email me with more information on your birds condition.
